CISA, FinSA, FinIA: Assessment on the new legal landscape in Switzerland

By Émilie Tränkner

Since the beginning of 2020, the new financial market regulations, FinSA and FinIA, have been in force in Switzerland. This affects investment and asset advisors, asset managers and collective asset managers, as well as all persons involved in the provision and marketing of financial services.

With six months to go before the end of the transitional period for the full implementation of FinSA and its ordinance, the time has come to examine the impact on financial services providers.

To discuss this, I was pleased to participate in a panel discussion organised by B2B Magazine, the Swiss fund and asset management magazine, which focused on the different perspectives with insights into the day-to-day activities related to regulation and compliance.

A summary of the discussion was published in the June 2021 issue of B2B Magazine. You can find a write-up of the roundtable here.
