Reduction of FINMA costs for ACOLIN customers thanks to electronic submission

Good news for all ACOLIN customers in the New Year. Since September 2016, the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) permits the submission of filings and documents via its newly launched digital delivery platform.1 Until then, all documents had to be submitted in a printed format by post.

ACOLIN Fund Services has responded immediately and has already taken the necessary technical and operational arrangements to submit as quickly as possible all filings to the supervisory authority via the digital delivery platform. Therefore, since November 2016 ACOLIN has been submitting documents through this efficient and user-friendly way.

The electronic transmission of the documents to the supervisory authority reduces the administrative burden at both ACOLIN as the representative of the funds as well as at FINMA. This has not only reduced the processing times, but is now also financially rewarded. As of 1 January 2017, all customers of ACOLIN will benefit from lower admission fees.
